Not to many years ago, in the primordial days of the search engines, great links walked the web lords of all they connected. Champion among these was the Directasaurs Rex. Towering above the other linkasaurs the great Directasaurs held hundreds if not thousands of links to everything under the sun and was always hungering for more links.
Then from the sky a massive algorithm shift struck the web. The massive linkasaurs could not adapt to the change in the web and slowly (in web time) they were replaced by the contentamals.
But SEO has not forgotten the great Linkasaurs and to this day (or at least until the next algorithm shift) their decedents still roam the great web.
